Our March meeting was devoted to nuno felting. We have 2 felmakers in the group and this session was led by Katie. She showed everyone how to lay out the wool fibres to make a thing base on some scrim before adding more interesting textures with silk and yarns. The method that Katie demonstrated was really quick and everyone made some lovely thin, lightweight pieces of nuno felt.
