We started the New Year by playing about with transparency and overlaying fabrics one on top of the other. This was inspired by Carol’s interest in the work of Roberta Wagner. We had brought a variety of thin, gauzy and transparent fabrics to the meeting along with some threads.
Each of us started by auditioning fabrics against each other and seeing how they looked overlaid with each other. You can see where we got to during the meeting. Click on each thumbnail to see a larger photo.
